Feed those in need
We have given away 12,000+ LauLau during the 2020 Pandemic to those in need of healthier meals that were struggling financially.
Since then we have provided food to cultural events
and given away over an estimated 1500 lbs of kalo over the past year.
Land Restoration
Donating to farm maintenance supports the restoration and care of kalo and loʻi, which are essential to Hawaiian food systems and culture.
Contributions fund the demanding work of reopening loʻi, cutting overgrown grass, clearing land, restoring waterways, repairing ʻauwai, and maintaining the fresh water kalo needs to thrive.
Your support helps protect the ʻāina, keep farms productive, and sustain traditional practices that nourish both people and community for generations.
Reconnection to Culture
Reconnecting to culture through kalo strengthens identity, health, and the relationship between people and ʻāina.
Supporting kalo farming allows traditional practices, knowledge, and values to be passed down through hands-on work in the loʻi and through food shared at the table.
This reconnection helps communities remember who they are, where they come from, and how caring for the land is inseparable from caring for each other.
